What is calisthenics?

Calisthenics finds its roots in ancient Greece. The words Kalos (Beauty) and Sthenos (Strength) were used to define what was then fitness. It was considered that men needed to train both Mind and Body to be healthy beings. The modern Calisthenics is a mix of various sports such as classic calisthenics, acrobatics, freestyle gymnastics, yoga, breakdance, pole fitness and parkour.
